NCDMB Pushes for Africa-Wide Local Content Policies
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has praised Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) for successfully fabricating mooring buoys in Warri, Delta State. This milestone strengthens Nigeria’s industrial capacity, creates jobs, and aligns with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act.
The NCDMB is also advocating for a continent-wide local content framework to standardize policies across Africa. This approach aims to enhance regional collaboration and economic growth. SPDC’s achievement reinforces the importance of investing in local manufacturing for national development.
