Eleven young Nigerian professionals graduated on 30 July 2025 from a Chevron-funded Human Capital Development (HCD) program coordinated by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) alongside Geoscape Nigeria Limited. Selected via the NOGIC JQS portal, the cohort completed a rigorous 12-month training that combined classroom instruction, hands-on technical experience, and international exposure in the UK.

At the closing ceremony held in Lagos, NCDMB’s Executive Secretary—speaking through the Board’s GM for Human Capacity Development, Esueme Dan‑Kikile—praised the initiative as a successful model of public–private synergy that aligns with the Board’s 10-year Strategic Roadmap. He underscored that investing in youth skills and local expertise is central to Nigeria’s ambition of replacing imported services with homegrown solutions in the petroleum industry. Chevron’s HCD Advisor reiterated the company’s commitment to sustainable development, affirming that the program is both a regulatory mandate and a social investment.
