The essentials—rice, maize, spaghetti, salt, seasoning cubes, groundnut oil, and tomato paste—were handed over in Mokwa via his Director of Administration, Pastor Jacob Saba, and distributed in partnership with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to ensure fair targeting of the most vulnerable households.
Dr. Gana reaffirmed his commitment to the affected communities, noting this as his second intervention since the floods. He previously donated ₦5 million in mid-June 2025, while also urging the federal government to intensify relief efforts and implement preventative strategies to avert future disasters through a motion presented at the National Assembly on July 2, 2025.
