The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has announced that former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, will headline the Q3 2025 edition of its Business Mentorship Lecture Series (BMLS). The event is scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025, at 10 a.m., and will be accessible via Zoom Webinar and the NCDMB YouTube channel. Moderated by prominent industry compère Richmond Osuji, the one-day initiative is designed to fortify the capabilities of service and operating companies across Nigeria’s oil & gas sector.

Launched under Section 67 of the NOGICD Act of 2010, the BMLS aligns with NCDMB’s mandate to foster local industry capacity and participation. Kachikwu brings decades of leadership and innovation—from steering the National Gas Policy and Petroleum Policy in 2017 to leading the NNPC and representing Nigeria at OPEC. His insights are expected to fuel strategic thinking and sustainable growth among emerging firms. This edition further builds on NCDMB’s broader capacity-building drive, which includes initiatives like the Centre for Marine and Offshore Technology Development (CMOTD) and graduate-trainee programs with PFL Engineering.
