In a strategic move to strengthen e-waste management, ITREALMS Media collaborated with the E-waste Producer Responsibility Organisation of Nigeria (EPRON) and recyclers EL-AS Tech and WEEE Eco-Friendly to host a one-day small e-waste collection campaign in Lagos. Held as part of the 2023 ITREALMS E-Waste Dialogue—coinciding with International E-Waste Day—the event invited Nigerians to responsibly dispose of defunct electronics, using the theme:
“You can recycle anything with a plug, battery, or cable.”
Attendees were encouraged to bring in items like mobile phones, chargers, and accessories for proper recycling and to engage in discussions on e-waste challenges and solutions.
