The Federal Government has reaffirmed support for safe biotechnology to boost health, agriculture, and national growth.
Speaking in Abuja, Minister of State for Health, Dr. Iziaq Salako, emphasized that GMOs are safe, citing global scientific consensus and over 2,000 supporting studies.He urged public confidence in the nation’s biosafety regulations and called for evidence-based dialogue on biotech issues. The initiative aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aiming to use innovation to improve lives and promote sustainable development.
