The African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), in partnership with NRCRI and others, has begun training 6,000 farmers and 1,000 processors across Oyo and Ogun states to enhance the cassava value chain.The program, supported by Germany’s BMZ and GIZ under the i4Ag initiative, focuses on good agronomic practices, value addition, and financial literacy.
The goal is to improve productivity, food security, and create income opportunities—especially for women and youth.AATF and NRCRI officials say the training will help farmers increase yields and profitability through modern techniques and efficient processing.
