– Dangote Refinery petrol price update
– Nigeria fuel price adjustment
– Impact of crude oil prices on Nigerian fuel costs
The Dangote Refinery has adjusted its ex-depot petrol price to ₦865 per litre, marking a ₦15 reduction from the previous rate of ₦880. This change follows a decrease in global crude oil prices to $63 per barrel in April, down from over $70 in March. Despite the drop in crude prices, refining costs remain elevated due to the expenses associated with importing crude oil in dollar.
Filling stations with direct supply agreements, such as MRS Oil & Gas, Ardova Plc, and Heyden Petroleum, are expected to adjust their pump prices accordingly, potentially bringing relief to consumers.
