– Sustainable development and job creation Africa
The 11th Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD-11) will be held from April 9–11, 2025, in Kampala, Uganda. Organized by the UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), the African Union Commission, and the African Development Bank, the forum will focus on driving job creation and economic growth through sustainable solutions aligned with the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063.
Under the theme “Driving job creation and economic growth through sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions,” the event will gather over 1,500 participants, including heads of state, policymakers, and experts. It aims to accelerate progress on the SDGs, enhance youth employment, and strengthen partnerships for the implementation of Agenda 2063.
Key objectives include reviewing SDG progress, sharing best practices, and preparing for the Second World Summit for Social Development in November 2025.
