The Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) project has awarded a ₦8.5 billion contract for an erosion control initiative in Kano State. This project is part of a broader strategy to combat land degradation and climate change impacts across Northern Nigeria. The contract, awarded to Messrs H&M Nigeria Ltd., will address severe erosion threats affecting farmlands, infrastructure, and communities in Kano.
