The Federal Government has called on stakeholders to intensify efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nigeria. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, made the appeal during a high-level meeting, emphasizing the urgency of meeting the 2030 targets.
Orelope-Adefulire stressed that Nigeria must enhance partnerships and mobilize resources to address poverty, inequality, climate change, and other key development challenges. She noted that collaboration between government agencies, the private sector, civil society, and international partners is critical to driving meaningful progress.
The government reaffirmed its commitment to creating an enabling environment for SDGs implementation and urged stakeholders to align their programs and policies with the global development agenda to ensure no one is left behind.
