Several stakeholders have lauded President Bola Tinubu’s administration for significant improvements in Nigeria’s crude oil production. The Tinubu Stakeholders Forum (TSF) highlighted the increase in rig count from 19 to 40, with projections to reach 50, as a testament to the administration’s commitment to revitalizing the nation’s oil production capacity.

Similarly, the Independent Petroleum Producers Group (IPPG) praised the government’s bold policy reforms, noting that Nigeria has met the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OPEC) production quota of 1.5 million barrels per day. This achievement is attributed to improved security conditions in the Niger Delta and strategic industry reforms.

Furthermore, the Niger Delta Intelligentsia Team (NDIT) expressed optimism that the rise in oil production could alleviate current economic hardships, enhancing the living standards of Nigerians. They commended both President Tinubu and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) for their concerted efforts in this regard.

These collective endorsements underscore the positive impact of the current administration’s initiatives in strengthening Nigeria’s oil sector and overall economic resilience.
