The Delta State Government has formalized a partnership with NIPCO Gas Limited to establish a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicle conversion centre in Asaba.

This initiative aims to facilitate the transition of petrol-powered vehicles to CNG, offering a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative. During the signing ceremony, Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, highlighted the administration’s commitment by allocating a 3,000 square meter site for the project. He urged NIPCO to adhere to quality standards and project timelines, reflecting Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s dedication to prompt and efficient project delivery.

NIPCO’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Sanjay Tarat, expressed gratitude for the state’s support and pledged to advance the project in compliance with all relevant regulations.
