Energy Access in Nigeria
Policy Implementation
Sustainable Energy Solutions
The African Coalition for Sustainable Energy and Access (ACSEA) has urged the Nigerian government and stakeholders to prioritize awareness campaigns and policy implementation to address the country’s growing energy inequality.
ACSEA emphasized that millions of Nigerians still lack access to reliable electricity, affecting economic growth, education, and healthcare. The coalition called for targeted policies that promote renewable energy investments, rural electrification, and fair energy distribution to bridge the gap.
The organization also stressed the importance of community engagement, urging local and international partners to collaborate in advancing sustainable and affordable energy solutions. ACSEA’s call comes as Nigeria works towards achieving its energy transition goals and ensuring equitable access for all citizens.
