Global and regional energy leaders will gather in Lagos for the 6th West Africa LPG Expo 2025, focusing on clean energy transition and LPG adoption in the region.

Event Details and Highlights
Scheduled for March 3-4, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, the expo will feature over 100 exhibitors and 50 expert speakers, showcasing innovations in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and fostering industrial networking. Supported by organizations like the Nigeria Liquefied and Compressed Gas Association (NLCGA) and the World Liquid Gas Association, the event is a key platform for advancing LPG as a sustainable energy solution.

Nigeria’s Leadership in Clean Energy
As Africa’s second-largest LPG producer, Nigeria leads clean energy initiatives through its Energy Transition Plan, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2060. Investments in LPG infrastructure are boosting production, reducing imports, and expanding access. Neighboring countries, including Ghana and Senegal, are following suit, leveraging LPG to meet clean cooking goals by 2030.

Compressed Natural Gas Focus
Running alongside the expo is the 2nd CNG Africa, Nigeria 2025, which will highlight Nigeria’s Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (Pi-CNG). This initiative aims to grow Natural Gas Vehicles (NGVs) to one million by 2026, showcasing CNG’s economic and environmental benefits.

The LPG Expo continues to drive innovation and sustainability, reinforcing West Africa’s path to cleaner energy.
